Despite the rather risque URL that starts bj2008, the official Olympic online shopping has some pretty cool AND some pretty lame souvenirs. I love the replica of the torch. It’s about half the size of the original, but appears to be very detailed. A pen/pencil holder is made of ceramic and looks to be very pretty, but the rest of the stuff is just “stuff.” Olympic glasses that don’t have five rings? Did they just recycle the 2008 New Year’s glasses? C’mon, this is China! Where are the wind-up drummers and pop-up boxers? References: bj2008eshopFiled In: |
