The Oink App, developed by Internet start-up wunderkind Kevin Rose, lets you rate and share anything around you; the app's tagline is "life is an adventure." This new app is currently connected to Twitter but not Facebook for the time being.

The concept behind the Oink app as explained by Rose is to draw upon the popularity of both check-in services like Foursquare and review websites like Yelp and subtract their shortcomings. For Foursquare, users can check-in both they can't rank their experience; and with Yelp, the reviews are often too long and don't work well in the mobile format.

The Oink app is a brilliant way to get people to share and rank their experiences of all the things that make up their day. Stats for Roaming Rate Apps Trending: Older & Chilly
