With crude oil prices now well over $100 per barrel, filling that gas guzzling SUV is really hurting the pocket. If that’s not enough, perhaps you need another reminder of the diminishing supplies and voracious global demand. This tea set is designed by Designkommando (Germany) with a gold finish, oil can tea pot as its centerpiece. Gold, get it? Oil is getting so pricey, it might as well be put in the same category of expensive as the precious metal.

So for the coffee or tea drinker, every time you pour from the tea pot, less and less of your favourite java or tea will be left - just like our draining oil supplies. A daily reminder for us to change our lifestyles.
