O'Hara Studio Craft Fluid Furniture is Inspired by Nature

O’Hara Studio creates stunningly sculptural seats that seem more like pieces of art than pieces of furniture. Ranging in shapes and sizes, the studio’s chair designs also use various materials from wood to metal. Meticulously handcrafted, the seats may look significantly different from one another, but they all share a fluid, sensuous form that is part of the artisan’s signature style.

Founded by Sean and Cynthia O’Hara, both of whom graduated from Rhode Island School of Design, O’Hara Studio uses tools that Sean has created himself. These original instruments help set apart his designs even more from the rest of the furniture market. Influenced by nature, the O’Hara Studio seats represent everything from water patterns and coastlines to aquatic life and rock formations for organic aesthetics.
