‘My Deer’ Sculptures Are Made from Rescued Textiles

The ‘My Deer’ collection of deer sculptures was inspired by Frederique Morrell’s dismay that, after her grandmother’s death, her needlework was set to be tossed in the trash. To save them, she found alternative artistic uses for the pieces and the results are stunning.

The range of deers (think Cow Parade with antlers) and trophy heads are stunning statement pieces. There are also more practical pieces such as footstools, poufs and bags.
