Every day, video game technology like the Oculus Rift and the Oculus Touch controller are closer to mirroring reality, looking to realize the dream of millions of gamers around the world.

Oculus Rift is described as "the first truly immersive virtual reality headset for video games," making a person see and feel a virtual world in a new kind of experience. This project gained the support of more than 9,522 backers on Kickstarter, generating an amount of $2,437,429 to make the concept a reality.

But it doesn’t end here. The team behind Oclus Rift is now working on other projects like the 'Oculus Touch,' a pair of tracked controllers that let you take games connected with the Oculus Rift further than ever before. An exhibition was made at E3 this year and the response from the people was mostly positive. Everyone who was there had the chance to play with it, changing the way they think about gaming forever. It has a high-resolution display, an incredibly wide field of view and great latency head tracking according to movements.

The new version of the Oculus Rift will be released in 2016, designed for gamers by gamers.
