Viral Obituaries [Edit]

Dolores Aguilar was not well liked, according to her obituary, which reads, “Dolores had no real hobbies, made no contribution to society and rarely shared a kind word or deed in her life.”

The bitterness continues, “I speak for the majority of her family when I say her presence will not be missed by many, very few tears will be shed and there will be no lamenting over her passing.”

It ends, “Goodbye Mom.”

The real (nasty) obit was allegedly published in the Times-Herald of Napa/Sonoma (confirmed by SFist).  I’d like to think the obit was a spoof, but there are a lot of cranky old people croaking away.
