14.7 Megapixel Digicams [Edit]

The new NV100HD camera from Samsung has to be the highest resolution camera on the market with a massive 14.7 megapixels.  Following the trend of the latest mobile phones, it also has a touch screen. This features allows you to rotate or delete the pictures through the touch screen instead of selecting different functions and having to go through several screens to do what you want.

Among the special features of the camera are some very futuristic and hard to believe improvements. Samsung claims the camera will automatically detect up to nine faces in the photo and automatically ‘touch them up,’ optimizing focus and brightness. It will detect when someone has blinked while the photo was taken, it takes three shots in a row to ensure it captures people when their eyes are open. Finally, a smile detector automatically takes a shot when it detects someone is smiling.

Some might say that is scary artificial intelligence but that has to make the NV100HD THE camera to have when it goes on sale in August this year.
