Photographer Normann Szkop has captured the natural beauty of the Netherlands. To get this aerial perspective, Szkop hired pilot Claython Pender who took the artist on a tour of the country's sprawling tulip fields.
Szkop specifically focused on the Anna Paulowna region of the Netherlands. The town is the site of rows of flowers, all of which have come together in a geometric manner. The pops of red, orange and yellow are therefore not only breathtaking, but also markedly mathematical, apparent in the strict jagged patterns. This precision is reflective of just how important the bulb is to the country as it is exported to hundreds of nations throughout the world, distinguishing the tulips as a precious flower within the Netherlands.
