The Nook Simple Touch with Glowlight Illuminates eBooks

The Nook Simple Touch with GlowLight acts as a portable reading light for perusing the virtual pages of one's favorite novel.

While many tablets and eReaders struggle with their readability in bright sunlight, there are few that have addressed the problem of reading in low-light situations, such as on planes or when reading in the dark before bed. While there are clip on external solutions to the problem, they often are cumbersome and cause an annoyance to those around them.

The device is super thin and features a 6-inch display with 800 x 600 resolution powered by eight LEDs for a bright, vibrant and crisp page-turning experience.

Since the user does not have to clip on an external light source when reading, it will not distract others in the vicinity as other eReaders do. The battery life is also rather impressive and promises a month of digital reading off a single charge. Stats for Lumination Literary Devices Trending: Older & Chilly
