No More Red Lights

Audi's Travolution|
A watched pot never boils. This is a saying that applies to traffic lights, as well. Car maker, Audi, hopes to change this by taking the guess work out of red lights. Using an experimental system in their hometown of Ingolstadt, Germany, Audi will install 46 lights that communicate with certain cars - telling them how long until a red light will turn green - and even better, at what speed to maintain to hit a green light. This could eliminate stops altogether - saving fuel and time. Via: ohgizmo |
