What is your favorite trend and why?
My favorite trend recently is interactive advertising. I have a great example right over here. This is the Nissan Leaf campaign, a promotion to promote their new electric car. They have turned all these little petrol stations into fun, whimsical items.
How do you define cool?
I define cool as something that is disrupting current expectations and really catches your attention, like a mug that stirs itself. Who knew?
What is your secret to uncovering the best trends?
My secret for uncovering the best trends is to keep an open mind and just consantly look wherever you think. Every site has some sort of opportunity.
What is your favorite part about working at Trend Hunter?
My favorite part about working at Trend Hunter is the people. Everyone is so talented, amazing and full of energy and you can't help but join in.
What inspires or excites you?
What inspires and excites me would be fashion. Personally, it is constantly changing and you never know what to expect despite the fact that it is so simple and to the heart.
What is your advice to the business world?
My advice for the business world is not to judge someone based on their experience, but what they can bring to the company. Someone who just graduated is not going to have all the experience, but they are going to have the most innovative ideas. This is because they have nothing to lose, they are not established and bring ideas that you have probably have never heard of.
What's your favorite accomplishment?
My favorite accomplishment, at least of this year, is getting this internship because it is completely outside of my comfort zone and is already an amazing opportunity.
