"The Heroin Diaries" Guitar Edit

Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx has launched the Celebrity Ovation Guitar which was inspired by his new book, The Heroin Diaries. The $550 limited edition guitar features graphics designed by PR Brown, the same artist behind the book and CD cover art. 25% of each guitar package sale will be donated to Nikki Sixx’s Running Wild in the Night. The charity supports Covenant House, program for runaway youth and the homeless.

The Heroin Diaries, to be released on September 18, is based on the life of Sixx, with excerpts from the journals he kept while on heroin in the ‘80s. He’ll kick off his publicity tour mid month to promote the book, starting at Borders in Los Angeles.
