Apple’s teamed up with Nike to make a Bluetooth-enabled wristband, stuffing a remote control for the iPod, with display for checking your work out stats from the Nike+iPod kit. “This product will bridge the gap between the physical world and the digital world” Cooper said.  The Sport Kit allows your Nike+ shoe to talk to your iPod nano. The sensor uses a sensitive accelerometer to measure your activity, then wirelessly transfers this data to the receiver on your iPod nano.
The receiver fits securely into the Dock connector on the bottom of your iPod nano. Wirelessly connected to the sensor in your Nike+ shoe, it receives up-to-the-second information as you run.
