The Nike VRS Covert 2.0 Matte Black edition driver is a golf club whose color and finish are inspired by a very different sport -- college football. College football teams often incorporate black into their uniforms for big games, as it's a color seen to be associated with strength and power. This line of thinking inspired Nike's golf club designers when it came time to design the new Nike VRS Covert 2.0.

This limited-edition offering features a black Tour Wrap 2G grip, Kuro Kage Black shaft and matte black club head specifically modeled after the matte black college football helmets that have been all the rage in recent years.

The Nike VRS Covert 2.0 Matte Black Edition driver offers more than just a powerful appearance however. The driver features a larger, re-engineered NexCOR face for increased ball speed and distance and FlexLof adjustability, which allows golfers to customize loft and face angle positions for 15 drivers in one.
