With March Madness only a month away, fans like President Barack Obama are stocking up on their basketball gear, with the Nike Sportswear Spring 2012 apparel collection released just in time. Each of the pieces in the collection are limited edition, including the sneakers and matching apparel to be released in the coming weeks.
Universities included in the collection are Arizona, Duke, Connecticut, Florida, Kentucky, Michigan State and Syracuse. Each post-secondary establishment's pieces received head-to-toe treatment specific to the school colors, with a range of apparel including NCAA-inspired Destoyer jackets, AW77 hoodies, crewneck sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats and shoes. Some NCAA fans might be a bit perturbed that their team didn't make the cut, but each one of these teams are seeded and have been successful in the tournament, especially UConn and Duke.
Remember to look for the Nike Sportswear Spring 2012 line in the coming weeks -- I know I will.
