Talented Gabriel Dishaw is at it once again with his sneaker sculptures, and his latest creation is the Nike Free Time Y2K Sculpture.
The theme for Dishaw's Nike Free Time Y2K Sculpture is time. The artist continues to utilize circuit boards, computer parts, machine keys and watch bands to construct the entire piece. The result is an impressive metallic piece that captures the essence of the shoe, while maintaining Dishaw's artistic personality. I particularly like the web-like design he integrated into the upper that's commonly seen in the Nike Free+ sneaker models. It also comes along with a leather carrying case with a component descriptions inside.
The Nike Free Time Y2K Sculpture is now a part of Nike World Headquarters' expansive art collection in Beaverton, OR.
