I caught up with hip boutique, Up To You, last week and now have the inside scoop on some of the hottest new items, including these nifty candles that look like an ordinary pack of matches. When you lift the lid, a set of tiny candles are in place of matches. Cute!

They’ve also got the Never Miss Me Doll, “A doll designed to represent your absent loved ones. This huggable wool doll has a slot where a photograph can be inserted as the doll’s face,” Up To You said of the device that also has a built in voice recorder for personalized messages. They come in brown, white and orange.

The Leather Dog Desk Accessory is meant to organize office clutter, with space to hold everything from pencils to rulers, and even a place for your notebook on his back. As for your Blackberry, you can punk that in his tummy pouch. If dogs aren’t your thing, they also have pigs, turtles, caterpillars, storks, monkeys, and my personal favourite, kangaroos!
