Lushpad is a new online marketplace for new and used contemporary and mid-century modern furniture and fine art.

It’s the designer’s answer to Craigslist and could be the beginning of high-end niche market buy and sell sites that are not only eye candy, but also educational. No more digging through Craigslist or eBay’s frightful interfaces for us!

Lushpad is a place for modern collectors to buy and sell their prized pieces of MCM and fine art to a niche market of qualified and enthusiastic buyers.

Nothing against Craig, but shopping the man’s list is like searching for a needle in a friggin’ haystack. Like a mod, tightly edited version of C-list or eBay, the site connects North American buyers and sellers whose pulses quicken at the site of Barcelona chairs, Eames tables, and Danish modern credenzas.
