New Years Eve 2008 [Edit]

New Years eve is a tradition celebrated in almost every country in the world, and it seems each region has its own practices and traditions. It would be impossible to capture all the unique ways of ringing in the next year and saying good bye to the last. We thought it would be worth sharing a few of the top celebrations, so below you’ll find photos and videos highlighting cities from Hong Kong to Berlin, and of course the 100th annual ball drop in Times Square in New York, who this year had an eco-friendly midnight thanks to the use of LED lighting.
