Giving expensive jewelry or other wedding gifts to the bridal party is becoming a thing of the past. The old wedding ditty about ‘something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue’ will need at least one addition in order to address the needs of the modern bride; botox. That extra something may or may not fit in between the words old, new and/or borrowed or blue.

The modern bride has transformed the concept of looking one’s best to include those of the wedding part as well. A new trend to support this way of thinking is reflected in the gift of beauty via a bridal botox party.According to the American Society of Plastic Surgery, bridal Botox parties have increased by as much as 25 percent in the last year alone. 

Dr. Forouzanpour, a plastic surgeon, is taking the bridal Botox party craze a step further by offering Botox along with an array of other beauty “menu options” as part of the Bridal Beauty Buffet.  In his own words:

“A woman’s wedding day is the biggest day of her life. Every woman is unique and has different skincare issues. One type of beauty treatment may not be enough. By offering my Beauty Buffet Menu I not only help the bride achieve that picture perfect look, but also the entire wedding party.”

The “Bridal Beauty Buffet” can be indulged in at home or in-office and includes: Botox, Fillers (Restylane, Juvederm, Collagen and Elevase), teeth whitening, lip augmentation, oxygen skin therapy, Sclerotherapy (leg vein removal) and one-on-one consultations.

One can only wonder what will be next? Perhaps a catered dental-themed party that offers gilded floss and initialed toothbrushes to the lucky couple and all their friends? Or maybe monogrammed white porcelain vases shaped like a tooth with an opening at the top signifying a big cavity?
