Designer duo Ava Nirui and Alex Lee have crafted a line of gender-neutral dolls for the gender-bending fashion generation. With more and more designers and fashion icons dismissing the idea of clothes that target a specific sex, Nirui and Lee have decided to do the very same with the iconic Barbie doll.

Inspired by a rare Calvin Klein Barbie purchased from eBay, the two creatives began customizing their own version of the modern Barbie doll. By dressing Barbie in iconic gender-blurring brands such as Eckhaus Latta, Hood By Air, Jacquemus, Marques’Almeida, VETEMENTS and 69, Barbie is no longer restricted to the hyper-feminine gender role she was created upon.

By giving Barbie an eccentric makeover, these gender-neutral dolls continue the movement of realistic Barbie dolls all ages can enjoy.
