Berlin design and art brand Neulant Van Exel have created a coffee table meant to resemble an old school floppy disc.

Some of you may be asking, what is a floppy disc? Well floppy discs are what used to be hi-tech storage devices, now replaced by compact discs, usbs, flash drives and other modern day devices. Floppy discs are now considered to be archaic, but this Berlin brand has once again made them cool. The tables are made of a mixture of wood and metal. The metal section meant to resemble the top/ insert side of the floppy disc also seconds as a stealth storage area. The design is polished, modern and and a slice of nostalgia.

The Neulant Van Exel floppy disc coffee tables are avant-garde art pieces, nodding to past technology while remaining useful furniture pieces. Stats for Archaic Technology-Inspired Tables Trending: Older & Chilly
