Nespresso Design Contest Winners

Well known for their sexy and creative coffee maker designs Nespresso gives us a peek at the future of coffee designs with the announcement of the winners of their second Nespresso Design Contest at an awards ceremony in Milan.

The four winning designs are:

First place: ”Untitled” by Brice Genre and Hanika Perez of the Université Toulouse Le Mirail in France. The design resembles “a thermosensitive work of art that gradually changes appearance thanks to the heat of the water.”

Second place: “Pearl” by Andreas Diefenbach from Staatliche Akademie Der Bildenden Künste in Germany. It is a round luxurious coffee-maker.

Third place: “Enjoy It While Flying” by Millete Balazs and Telekes Tamas from MOME - Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Hungary, with their in-flight coffee machine. 

Finally, a Special mention was awarded to “SOPRANO” by Francois Saudubray from EID in France.
