Capture the stories of a city in wood with the cleverly named Neighborwoods maps. Created by artist Aymie Spitzer in collaboration with the NYC design firm Hyperakt, these hand-drawn and laser-engraved cedar maps beautifully encompass the features of a city.

According to the company's website, the "cedar's natural wood grain characteristics set off the engraved typography and hand-drawn details." From city statistics to the various neighborhoods, it's clear in the gorgeous details in the wood that Spitzer has a love of maps.

Some of the cities available include Brooklyn, Barcelona, Berlin, Paris, San Francisco, Roma and Toronto with more releases on the way. Each city depiction costs between $48-64 US, so get your Neighborwoods maps to represent your hood etched in wood.
