The Animotus is a cube-shaped navigation device that acts as a haptic compass of sorts, pointing you in the right direction so you can get to where you're going.

While it's true that a lot of us have GPS-enabled devices these days, even the latest and greatest GPS technology can sometimes let you down, and it's often easier to ask someone to point you in the right direction. This is where the Animotus comes in. The cube changes shape in response to wireless instructions to indicate the user's position relative to their environment.

The Animotus could have broad potential, for example as a navigational device for hikers and recreational walkers that would allow them to navigate and appreciate their environment without distraction.
