Naples Court Subpoenas Mickey Mouse (VIDEO)
[Edit]
A Chinese company was being sued in Naples for counterfeiting Disney characters. However, Murphy’s Law is alive and well in the Italian Court system. The summons to appear, rather than naming companies and representatives, listed the character names for Tweety Bird, Donald and Daisey Duck, and Mickey Mouse: “"Titty, Paperino, Paperina, and Topolino,” none of whom appeared. When the court realized its mistake, they reissued summons’. No one knows if “Titty, Paperino, Paperina, and Topolino,” will be prosecuted for failing to appear:
Judge: “Mr. Topolino… Is he here? … Mr. Topolino? … What? Somebody goofed. Do we have to issue a bench warrant?”
