Drawing inspiration from her collection of retro photographs, artist Naomi Vona hailing from Dublin, Ireland updates the past with the use of modern visuals and mediums.

She takes images of family portraits, vacations, weddings and even classroom photos that feature the perfectly posed positions of the past and creates abstract works of art on top to create a sense of colorful chaos that livens up the outdated photographs. Using materials such as pieces of paper, felt tip pens and colorful strips of washi tape, the artist covers up details like faces and identities while enhancing others like elements in the background.

By superimposing contemporary designs on top, artist Naomi Vona adds excitement to her vintage photos. Stats for Revamped Retro Photographs Trending: Older & Mild
