Sweden’s Little Dragon are starting to build some serious buzz. Tastemakers such as KCRW, as well as bloggers are spreading the gospel on their fresh and soulful sound. Evading simplistic categorization, their music slips and slides between a charming blend of soul, downtempo, electronica and more, morphing into something uniquely their own. The result is completely entrancing. Their self-titled debut is a must-have and provides blissful listening from start to finish. The music video for “Twice” is also unique, using a shadow puppet theater concept.
