How often have you opened up your inbox, excited to see a lot of mail and expecting something interesting, only to find it’s all newsletters and slightly interesting junk? The new Mozilla Raindrop aims to solve that problem by automatically prioritizing your email.

It’s not spam that’s the problem, it’s that we all get a lot of e-mail, and much of it is low priority or something that could wait. Mozilla Raindrop will feature your personal messages and put all that other stuff to the side. Various features of Mozilla Raindrop can be seen in competing email programs, but Mozilla Raindrop brings it all together.

Mozilla Labs announced a new project today: Raindrop is an “exploration in messaging innovation” brought to you by the same team behind the Thunderbird open source email client. (mashable)
