Movie effects are becoming more advanced than you think. In fact the true art in it is that it almost goes unnoticed. For instance, the cast of The Wolf of Wall Street is seen running down a walkway in Italy, when in reality Leonardo DiCaprio and the crew never left Los Angeles. The whole scene is filmed in a studio and the surroundings have been inserted digitally.

The same with Robert Downey Jr. in Iron Man. He's depicted wearing a suit made of iron, when in fact he's actually wearing a black leotard with a light on his chest. It's interesting to see the backstage process that goes into film, especially because minute details like this don't seem like they would be added later, but really they are.

Digital media has reached great heights, where literally anything is possible.
