Johnny Knoxville and Dave Grohl get a green graffiti makeover in the new Mountain Dew street art video. Using two guns, 1000 paintballs and 30 gas canisters, the two music and television daredevils were immortalized in 10x12 feet murals. The video is part of a street art campaign launched by UK-based Mountain Dew Energy, which debuted as a Facebook app that invites fans of the energy-fueling drink to compete for a £5k prize by creating digital street art masterpieces. To promote the campaign and the beverage, artists ‘Graffiti Kings’ were enlisted to create these super-sized star portraits in London’s Leake Street Tunnel, the city’s graffiti hub. Knoxville and Grohl were chosen by fans via the Facebook page, based on how well they represent and embody the Mountain Dew Energy spirit.

The Mountain Dew street art is both a display of amazing talent and artistry, and a tribute to the energy and attitude of the drink’s fans. The fans spoke, and Mountain Dew Energy delivered -- in a very big way. Stats for Paint Gun Graffiti Portraits Trending: Older & Average
