Renault Navigator Climbs Into Engine During Race

Superheroes come in all forms; this guy is a racing star. During the Ralley de Sarrians in France, the lime green Renault shown here is one mile from the finish line when disaster strikes.

The car’s throttle cable gives out and the Renault comes to a honking halt at the side of the road. Does the team give up? NO! The navigator gets out of the car, quickly diagnoses the problem and then climbs directly into the engine compartment to control the throttle manually! The guy shuts the hood over himself, as far as he can, signals the driver, and they’re off!

The crew finishes the race and our hero saves the day. Good thing he was wearing his superhero heat-retardant race suit! Stats for On-the-Spot Superheroes Trending: Older & Chilly
