There has been a lot of “wooden” trends on this site recently but for me the work of Wisconcin based Michael T. Rea’s work really does stand out above the rest.

His work has several categories such as Space, Rock & Roll, War, Aquatic - and I think the detail in all of his work is awesome.

If you love it as much as me his Solo Exhibition is the the Contemporary Art Center of Virginia, April 3-June 15, 2008

URGH I hate doing duplicate trends. I did search for his name to check and nothing came up :-(

Yep, it is frustrating and counter-productive, but it happens to us all :). The name used was 'Mike Rea' instead of 'Michael Rea', hence your search came up empty. The trend was only published on Marc 1, a few days ago. I am surprised you did not read it since you are obviously are in the subject. http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wood-sculptures-by-mike-rea
