More Accurate Ad Sharing - Still 50% of Ads

This is a quick note to all money-making Trend Hunters to let you know that we’ve made a slight tweak to ad sharing (which does not change your earnings). 

Instead of us showing TWO of your ads units on 1/2 of your trend pages, we will always show ONE of your ad units on ALL of your trend page.  HALF the time you will get the top ad units and HALF the time, you will get the bottom.  When there is a third ad, like when there is a video, the third ad unit is also served up 50/50. 

In short, this will not impact your earnings, but you will now have double the page views with half the CPM.

Since you’ll be earning the same amount, this might seem a bit trivial, but the advantage is that you get an accurate count of your page views in Google Adsense. 

The change was actually made around May 20, so around that time, you may see a jump in your page views and a similar decline in your CPM.  In short, these two changes cancel each other out.

As always, we don’t share ad money until you’ve reached 30 trends.
