Laurent Lavender's moon photos are wonderful snapshots of the French photographer having some fun with celestial bodies. His ongoing series is titled Moon Games, where the photographer comes up with different poses using the moon as an object of his possession.

He climbs a ladder to the moon, catches it with a lasso, uses it as a lamp and balloon and even carries it in a wheelbarrow. Lavender plays with the rising moon in ways that transform it into a daily object like a scoop of ice cream or wall-mounted picture, and has a way of making the moon appear so close and attainable.

Each picture looks like something you'd find in a dream, which you can own for yourself as each has been repurposed into a calendar and book of poetry.
