Makeup artist Elias presents a new collection for his ever wonderful portfolio demonstrating his skills in theatrical, special effects and film makeup.

Using latex, spray paint and traditional makeup techniques he gives his own impression on four popular looks from the realms of monsters, myths and fantasy. Created over a three day period on the same subject, Elias wonderfully shows how he can adapt and manipulate human features to make them look both outer and underworldy.

From clowns to imps, this collection was created to be over the top, grotesque and magical, giving refreshing professional interpretations on old subject matter.

This new collection for 2011 was produced for the London Makeup school Beautybase where Elias will be a guest tutor for beautybases’ November courses where he will specialize in theatrical, film and special effects makeup.

For a taster of how he works, four videos were produced to showcase how each one of these new looks were pieced together. Lesson one shows the creation of ‘Pennywise.' Where Elias took inspiration from the clown character made famous by Stephen King with added twist on Christopher Nolans latest Joker.
