The Moncler Gamme Bleu Fall/Winter 2014 collection that showcased at Milan Fashion Week definitely had no shortage of pattern. The garments for men and women take inspiration from a 1920s golf green, which can be seen in the argyle patterning that is used head-to-toe on the outfits.
Each outfit focused on a single color scheme and used variations in fabric as well as sizing of the argyle pattern. For this runway show, models wearing six different types of patterns was not uncommon.
Colors of the sporty collection included a spectrum of graphic reds, navy blues and whites to faded pinks and greens, grays and blacks. Socks, ties, gloves and the occasional bag were the prominent accessories used for the show, even if they blended into the outfits more than popping themselves.
