You're probably thinking that this Modular Dining Table is no table at all. For one, it's spherical and there are no visible flat surfaces on which to serve food. It also looks like there is nowhere logical to place chairs. More a waste of space than a compact table, is what you might think at first glance.
But the magic of Anoop Joseph's concept is in the way that this alien object opens out into quite a convenient suppertime spread, and fit for several people at that. Five hatches draw down to produce a seat for everyone and individual trays pull straight out in front of each one. The concave center of the Modular Dining Table proves to be a perfect built-in serving bowl and the ring-shaped dial rotates around like a lazy Susan.
