Three of the most valued elements of a public plaza have been married together in the Modul Bench System. The set consists of a two- or three-seater surface, a planter and a bike rack.
Designers Germain Verbrackel and Ivan Rodriguez conceptualized their project as a modular one, enabling the city to set up the facilities in whichever combination seems most appropriate to the place. The bicycle racks can be connected directly to the back of the bench, or they can be anchored into the side of the large geometric plant pot. Perhaps an area devoted to the storage of two-wheelers is already in place nearby, making the jardiniere and chair combination ideal. The Modul Bench System affords freedom of assembly to enhance the amenities of any outdoor space.
