Dockside Cannabis is the epitome of a modern cannabis dispensary. Located in Seattle's Ballard neighborhood, the retail destination enjoys a strikingly relaxing atmosphere thanks to the design work of local architectural firm Graham Baba Architects.
From the hip wooden decor (predominantly light-stained maple, white oak, and plywood) that instills warm vibes to the slick glass vitrines, some of which are emphasized through a dome-like form, the modern cannabis dispensary is an accessible space where consumers can learn about the benefits of marijuana and marijuana-derived products.
Graham Baba Architects curate the space to communicate transparency and tranquility. In addition to material use, the glazed facade allows natural light to flood the store. Aside from the relaxing ambiance, the modern cannabis dispensary also hopes to curate an educational experience for its customers.
