With texting while driving regulations becoming more and more stringent this steering wheel laptop desk seems a little unexpected. However, the unit comes complete with a “disclaimer that advises you to only use this desk while your vehicle is parked with the engine turned OFF,” according to Toxel.

The Buddy Desk, as it is called, could actually be quite useful for people who spend a lot of time on the road. Besides using it as a laptop desk it can also be used for reading, writing or have lunch on.
