These Mitab Chairs Were Created to Make Waiting Areas Less Intimidating

Airports, doctor's offices, corporate spaces and similar environments are often seen as aesthetically cold places, however these new Mitab chairs are part of an effort to make them more comfortable and inviting.
Dubbed the 'ASCENT' collection, the seating has a curvaceous shape that's both attractive and supportive in all the right places. Each of the chairs are placed on a long wooden block, which has its edges shaved down to ensure that the soft minimalist appearance brought by the seats themselves is maintained. On the wooden block, electrical outlets are included along the front, allowing those seated to charge their phones, laptops, or any other electronic devices as they relax.
In addition to the Mitab chairs, the Swedish design firm created tables to go along, which have a similar streamlined look and useful outlets on the legs. With these pieces, corporate consumers are able to make their clients feel more at ease.
