This minimalist cookware uses natural materials and an efficient design for this Japanese collection.

Designed by 'Taku Shinomoto,' these 'Hasami' bowls blend function and beauty for cookware that could also be used as design pieces. The collection features unglazed porcelain in the form of bowls, mugs and plates -- some pieces also feature oak lids. The materials contrast with each other to create a feeling of rich textures.

These efficient pieces can be stacked to enhance their organizational qualities and minimize any kind of mess. The minimalist cookware can be used in a variety of combinations and the materials lend to long-lasting durability. The pieces are made in Japan and are featured prominently in the company's 'Tortoise General Store.'
