These mini windmills are some of the coolest ideas for charging phones that have ever come around. These windmills attached to the phone will collect energy from a windy day or even just waving your phone around and charge your battery for you.
The University of Texas Arlington has created mini windmills for charging phones. When I say mini, I mean super tiny. One grain of rice could hold about ten of these mini power generators, so for those worried about having a big functional windmill hanging off of their phone, that won’t be the case.
With this idea, phones could always remain charged as long as we had the patience to shake them.
