To help consumers further achieve their goals, Google Calendar has a newly added feature called 'Goals' that ensures users are pushed towards obtaining milestone achievements in areas such as physical exercise, hobbies or learning new skills. The added feature also simultaneously commemorates Google Calendar's 10th anniversary since conception.

The 'Goals' feature is an attempt to help consumers set feasible goals for themselves with added reminders to help ensure they stay on the path to achieving them. The feature accelerates self-management by allowing consumers to set the goal they have in mind, set weekly reminders and then prompt users to follow through. The device can also be flexible, allowing consumers to move around times as long as the allotted time dedicated to the goal. The goals work in conjunction to pre-existing calendar reminders, to keep everything in one convenient place.
