Earlier this year, the popular Mexican fast food chain Miguel's Jr. began serving breakfast for the first time. While the chain has been serving up homestyle Mexican food for more than 40 years, the growing demand for breakfast food at quick service restaurants has caused the chain to begin selling breakfast dishes in addition to regular menu items.

The new breakfast menu at Miguel's Jr. was introduced back in January in the chain's Southern California locations. The new menu includes nine new breakfast dishes, including six new versions of the chain's popular Miguel's Jr. Original and its Garbage burritos. The other three dishes are breakfast plates created for those looking for a non-burrito option. The new dishes are available between 6AM and 11AM, making the chain competitive with other early-hours fast food restaurants.
