According to the New York Post Microsoft has made another attempt in a friendly take over of Yahoo!, a search portal and content destination. Goldman Sachs are said to be advising Microsoft on the deal. Yahoo! shares have been skyrocketing today after the news got out but nothing is for sure yet, as Yahoo! is said to show little interest.

If the deal comes to fruition, the takeover would be one of the largest corporate takeovers in American corporate history, and likely the largest ever in the Tech sector. (techcrunch)
