Here’s a positive little tid bit to brighten up the earlier news about the teen iPhone hacker’s run-in with the law.
17-year-old George Hotz may have unknowingly just applied for a job at Microsoft. The company is willing to pay a mean dollar for the cream of the crop when it comes to hackers.
“Microsoft employs some of the best hackers in the world and actively recruits them and develops them,” Labnol reports. “At his or her core, a true hacker is someone who is curious and wants to learn how systems work.” Now hacking can be done” in an ethical, legal manner.”
