Sometimes, nature gives us extraordinary beauty in places where it’s hard to enjoy or appreciate it. One example is a beautiful spot on the Mediterranean, midway between Barcelona and Valencia. The rough stretch of the Spanish coast is always in a state of “permanent revision,” where the rocks are eroded by the sea and shaped by the waves. The surrounding area has been urbanized, with a few homes close by. However, they couldn’t enjoy the extraordinary site. The Microcoasts project solves this problem with the creation of wooden artificial islands. The hexagonal wooden Microcoasts are organized by forming islands of varying size near the rocks and water.
